I know the '87-'92 LeMans is one. Isn't there another? The Sunbird right?

All Pontiac LeMans used Daewoo engines. The 1988 Pontiac Grand Am SE and the 1984 onwards Sunbird GT also used a turbocharged version of the Opel-designed SOHC 2.0L. It's the same block as the Daewoo engines. This engine was actually built in Brazil by GM do Brasil and was never actually used by Daewoo.

We use their Pontiac engines, they don't use Daewoo engines. In fact, they aren't even Pontiac, most of the engines are Opel by design. GM by manufacture.

I think...

Daewoos don't use Pontiac engines. Never have. Daewoo Motors was started in colaboration with GM and Shinjin Motor back in 1972. This cololaboration had the Koreans rebadging GM models, specifically those of European design. The fastest route to this was to have the GM company Holden (of Australia) issue the necessary tooling and equipment. As such, Daewoos have always used EUROPEAN based mechanical GM technology (through Australia). Things such as air conditioning parts have routinely originated in the US (AC Delco), however, but that's about it really.

The 2.0L turbo, as in the Sunbird et al, were used as a stop-gap measure while GM got their Quad-4 engine available. It replaced the turbo soon after.

The 1984 to 1986 Sunbird GT was a 1.8L turbo and the 2.0L turbo (C20GET) was in the Sunbird GT from 1987 to 1991

I think the Grand AM SE Turbo with the C20GET was from 87 to 91 as well

The Lemans had a throttle body 2.0L 8V or the 1.6L 8V

The naturally aspirated Grand Am and Sunbirds came with the same 2.0L throttle body injection from 87 to 90?? and then they changed it to MPFI

I'm not entirely sure but I think the 2.0L 8V lasted until 94???

I'm not entirely sure about the years for the naturally aspirated 2.0L 8V but I do know that they switched from a distributor to a direct ignition system later on in the 90's
