another prob!
it seems like the RPM is still but occasionally and suddenly it just feels like going real low on rpm and jumping to 1700rpm !!
i still didnt put an air filter and the exhuast pipes are ABIT ristricted !! can that be the prob???

Could be, it is never safe to run a car without an air filter and messed up exhaust pipe, the back pressure could damage the engine.

i get the feeling as if i was running a turbo and have a small lag time then suddnly it goes wild!! can this be due to the exhuast and air filter????
or electrical or fueling ??

highly tuned motors always idol funny, my mate had the same engine in his CORSA, he had cams, chip, this and that, and was around the 200bhp mark. i dont think its likely you are pushing 200+ bhp without a turbo. i would also adivse upgrading all the earths, and even putting some more in. that makes a huge difference.

now, thats a similar engine, running aroun200bhp....which has had a shed load ov money on it, plus its in a CORSA, which is a very very small and light motor. now this thing was silly fast, but a CIVIC TYPE R was faster, they boast a 0-62mph in 6.8 so this corsa was running something similar.

i also have videos of this civic beating this corsa, but i dont doubt that the car is guna be slow...just not as fast as you recon.

ok here is the catch, Do u know the weight diffrence bettween the Daewoo Racer and Opel Corsa!!!
Funny enough that small this is 1400 KG while my car is 1025KG
The Jump start from 0 -100 km/h is unbelivable on the car DONT FORGET RIM SIZE CANT GO THAT BIG ON CORSA so ur friend is loosing tire grip over 5000 rpm Try Driving it ! and ask him to JUMP the 0-60KM/h NOT TO 100 ON MY CAR SERIOUSLY WITHOUT THE RIMS TOOK ME 2.3 SECONDS and i was afraid that the car was gonna fall into SMALL BITS after the engine banged on the car body!
and no offense but if the typeR took him out i belive hes not of a good racer, or he is running Automatic trans and the civic was running Manual!
