I wouldn't know in order to hate it ... LOL ... I don't think they make size 14 heels, so I couldn't even try for scientific evaluation purposes. LOL

Where have I been? I just switched to night shifts, 11pm - 7am and I have been making myself sleep as much as I can. Blech.

I had to get used to driving with my combat boots when I was still in the Air Force. They have a thick bottom & a thick heel, so it took some time to not hit the gas & brake at the same time. :)

Now that I'm back to working nights, you won't get rid of me! Muahahahahahaha *echoing maniacal laughter*

I hated working nights. Nights are for clubbing and dancing (with heels on! LOL).

As for the size 14.....ya mean if I can dig a pair up you would want for evaluation purposes? Hmmm...........I suppose if you posted pictures. :P

anyway, good to see that you're still among the living.

I prefer sneakers or indoor soccer shoes the best (Nike Air Zoom 90 II's.heheh)

Only if you post pics of you in your clubbing clothes! (hey, I can still look :P LOL)

Living, yes, but mentally here? Not really. The week-long headache has started as I always get when changing to night shifts.

I thought I was the only one! My favorite driving shoes above all the rest are my Adidas Samba indoor soccer shoes. They are well worn so the sole is really thin but you get excellent control of the pedals. The other extremes are my Vietnam era combat boots that I got at an Army surplus store. With those, it feels like the car is possessed so you can't control anything. Also, I don't get how people can drive barefoot or with flip-flops. I always feel like my feet are gonna slip off the pedals and I'll careen into the Gulf of Mexico.

the soles are so designed for traction yet feel that when you step on the gas pedal if feels as if you're stepping on a cloud but you can feel everything ... it's amazing.

Shame I did not read that earlier. I have actually had a couple of formal events lately so I have been wearing my more expensive dresses/gowns. Then again this past weekend I did a punkish look with a short skirt, printed T, knee high leather boots, cuff watch, and sunglasses (on, always, teh entire time even inside, LOL). But I am camera shy, sorry.

This topic went better than I thought but I doubt my other thing would: trying to buckle those tiny shoe straps when you have long nails. :P

I've never tried to buckle or unbuckle someone else's boot straps before ... but I read an article that a university experiment proved that undoing a bra strap with your teeth burn 80 calories! That's a nice way to burn of that extra cookie you ate earlier in the evening. LOL :D

See now if I post a pic then it would ruin the idealised image you have in your head. Reality can never live up to fantasy. :P

As for bras, hmmm........the type I wore this weekend..........it would have been VERY entertaining to see someone try to remove it in such a fashion. They hook and LOCK in the front.

Suddenly I think i'm inspired ot go on the Bra-tooth Diet and Exercise program.. in fact I think it's more beneficial to unlock the ones in the front with your teeth anyways
