0-100 kph NOT mph (that's about 0-60 mph)

still that is fast... at least for me, my car's best 0-100 Km time is 12.5 seconds so if you can match that with going up to 4000 RPM only then it is a fast car with loads of torque.

It's not as fast as python235 might have thought it was, just stating a small detail... that's all. The car certaintly looks and sounds fast.

My car wont do 13s at least not now :P

at 4k rpm it feels better than the old 8v.

Honestly i cant guess what times it can do until i get it on the track.

I think he was refering to the 1/4 mile about 13's. Efrain's car does 0-60 in 12.5 sec shifting at 4k rpm and at about 3/4 throttle.

what engine does the Aveo got? is it the 1.6 DOHC? and how much the car weight?

Exactly the point... the engine was not giving all what it got not to mention that it is not tuned yet but still it was level with my car when pushed to the limit... i recon that car is going to be fast as hell when it is fine tuned and pushed hard. :twisted:

I think the engine might get 7sec depending on the launch and tire grip since it got 12 on 4krpm i think pushing it to the 6500 it might get 7 or MGIHT get 6.--!
u cant compare an aveo 0 - 60 in 9sec full speed throl with a 1/4 throl 4000rpm HE IS LOOSING WAT TOO MUCH TIME !!

Im at the 600 kms mark...

this week it will be tuned, on sartuday im going to the track.

On friday Claudio (my mechanic) told me to give it a couple of runs to see how it goes, well i went to the track on sartuday, did 3 runs, without tunning, reving to 5500, the boot filled with lots of parts from my old engine, and spinning a lot in 1st and 2nd... did a 16.4 (on my first run) i was expecting better but its ok.

in my 3rd run, and last, i launch like i was standing still (at idle), and the grip was there, i let go on 3rd 'cos i tought it was enough for the day, ... i did a 16.5, So i could done better.

Let's see how it does when its tuned and some nice grippy tyres.
