Coilovers and springs aren't the same things so just because R32 springs fit doesn't mean their coilovers will. I doubt Volkswagen suspensions have anything to do with ours, other than the fact that they're both designed by Germans .
Most springs look very much alike in all compact cars but when it comes to fitting them it is a very different matter. Many a time have I seen something and bought it because it looks like it would fit a Daewoo, only to bring it home and see that I was totally off. Make sure you get excellent measurements to compare to your stock springs before you take anything apart because having your suspension in 100 pieces is a bad time to find out they won't fit. Suspensions are one of the things that are very dangerous to mess with on cars. If the weight of the car puts a weird or uneven pressure on the springs, they could snap at high speeds and you could be in a mess of trouble.
