AIT sensor question FORENZA Expert help!

Post by www.forenzamotorsports.co »

Well I see the clip pops right off of it but how/can you actually remove the sensor or is it part of the pipe?

Second question is there an off the shelf etc..sensor that the factory wire will plug into and read correctly??

Really need some help one this one.

As with most cars, the sensor is not part of the pipe, it is just wedged in there for an airtight seal. The first time you take it out, there is a lot of pulling required to get it loose, but after that, it is fairly easy. So basically, if it is anything like a Lanos, which I'm sure it is. You just have to pull to get it out.

As for a Generic OEM replacement sensor... I highly doubt it.
