Update:

On Friday i got a new set of rings, the damage piston took away the compresion rings. So i had to buy a new set.

The pistons were installed yesterday. Today all the rest should be installed,

Tomorrow will be for the small details and finally start her up.

Ill take some pics while its been tuned with the wideband/laptop

IT's ALIVE!!!!!

And this time, thanks to the new valves the engine seem to behave a lot better than before, it's more smooth!

It was on for about 1 hour, the lifters were noisy at first but like 15 mins later they were ok.

A friend of mine took pics and a little video, ill post it tomorrow.

Too bad tomorrow it's a holiday, on friday it will be mapped so i can use it again. It was running with a 2.3 vtec fuel map. Yes it was a bit rich.

After two days of driving it... definatly i love it!

the engine is doing great! lots of torque from low end (im not going over 4000 rpms)

the goddamn ceramic clutch is insane now :lmao: thanks to the low end torque, (the front of the car vibrates), i've to learn how to drive it again.

I've already traveled 200 kms

a couple of pics:

As promised here's a little vid.

its from the exhaust sound, this is from last wednesday

MOV01992.MPG

i've another one from the engine but i need to edit it.

Honestly it feels TOTALLY different! i love it!

Yeah!

some VIDS! 8)

In car:

MOV02044.MPG 13.1 MB

MOV02047.MPG 26.2 MB

MOV02048.MPG 15.9 MB

MOV02049.MPG 4.0 MB

from the outside:

MOV02050.MPG 7.6 MB

MOV02051.MPG 18.5

Please dont ask me about the OIL light, there's a small electrical problem with it. it looks on, but it's not.

The check engine is from speedsensor signal, wich is not conected. it will be done this week.

I only applied 3/4 of the throttle, and never passed the 4000 rpms. 8)

The car is not that loud in real life. :P

Comments?

the ecu is not fully mapped yet and i still have to run about 700 kms due to the new piston rings.

Once i get around the 700+ kms, it will be mapped again to get it's full potential.
