Woo Intake

Post by PainiacZ »

Ok... I actually have a Suzuki Forenza. But I hear it's basically a Lacetti. Anyway... I was following my air intake system and noticed that it actually pulls air in from the passenger side (US) wheel well. Is this the case in most woos. Is there any mods to redirect the tubing? I want to get a performance air intake but I know you get much better increases if you can create an air dam. Any suggestions?

I know my lanos takes in air from the front passenger wheel, but daewooluvr is in the process of making me a CAI.

The Forenza is equivelant to the Daewoo Magnus, not the Lacetti.

The reason it pulls air from the wheel well is because the air there is much colder. COLDER AIR = MORE HP
2000 Daewoo Lanos HB - Its green

I though the Suzuki Verona is equivalent to the Daewoo Magnus, the Suzuki Forenza the Nubira III, and the Suzuki Reno is the Daewoo Lacetti. That's the way it is down here anyway.

You'll be happy with any kind of intake... even if its sucking in hot air (which i have now). Its still a big increase

Go here for a pic:
http://www.suzuki-forums.com/index.php? ... _mod&id=58

I got the intake for a 01 civic. Cost 10$ off ebay (23$ shipping) and i slapped it on there. Now the blue thing is actualy straight but i just tightened it on there and used my hand to bend it down... shut the hood. After i couple days it stays like that perfectly all by its self. The hole is a little small but the sensor fits in there nicly and doesnt fall out. I made the hole bigger to put the sensor farthur in b/c i thought it was giving me problems (found out later it wasnt) and the sensor doesnt fit nearly as good as it did.

if i don't find one of those 90 degree elbows I plan on just removing the black intake box and attach the K&N cone filter using the stock hose tubing.
lol, by the way, has anyone found any of those 90 degree rubber elbows?
