mounting question

Post by woo »

i used to have a filter on my leganza a while back but went back to the box because i wanted the car to sound near stock (exhaust's the only other mod and it has a resonator so its not loud). Anyhow, back then i had the filter held up by something i put below it but the stock intake bit seemed too short. My question is to other's who are blessed (or cursed) with a leganza who have a pod on theirs and how they did it. This time i want to get a pvc extention then put the filter on that and make (or buy) a braket instead of going the quick and ever faithful stickytape way.

disregard this whole topic as i put a 30cm chrome 3' pipe from the stock intake to the filter so the filter sits just above the hole where the resonator once was, and used one of the airbox mounts and a bit of metal to mount it solid
