My vote is to use the C20NE block... swap in some gently used XE rods and pistons and your off to the races.
i did not buy the block you are talking about. it is still up for sale. i am money struck now so i found on in a junkyard looking fairly new. it was from a 94 sunbird ls. the car was hit in the front and back. i was just wondering who is sure on the strongest of the two blocks. i won the XE crank any way and i am still waiting to recieve my let rods in the mail. darn thing takes for ever. right now, i am in the process of removing the crank pully(when i get to buy the pully puller) so i can get to the oil pump. also, i am cleaning parts and painting and also looking for a good deal on 86.5mm froged pistons.
