Thats pretty much all i use, cept for Armor All on my interior, everything else is meguires

i use windex, works wonders on my polished rims and windows anyways pretty much the same stuff and i use Mother's aluminum polish for my rims(after windex) for that extra shine at show.

I have totally fallen in love with the new RainX glass cleaner & micro fiber cloth towels. That combination cleans glass better than anything I have ever used in the past.

I usually use dish soap to wash the body of the car, Meguiars NXT wax (it smells like mangos! LOL) or Meguiars Gold wax (it smells like cocanut).

Later this week, I am going to try that new STP teflon wheel cleaner to see if the teflon really does help keep the brake dust from sticking.

The inside plastic gets Son of a Gun protectant because I get a big bottle for a good price.

Don't wash your car with Dish soap every wash. This strips the wax off. Only do this when you plan to wax which should be every 6-months to a year.

I use the Meguiars NXT wash (it smells like grapes) and it gets off some of the stubborn filth that can accumulate on your car over time...

Still looking for something good to get all the brake dust off the wheels without having to scrub really hard...

well anyways, I'm getting my rims redone again. This time powdercoated so they should wash up a bit easier.

Have you tried the new STP wheel cleaner with Teflon? Once you have the wheels really clean, the Teflon is supposed to help keep the dust from sticking as hard as it usually does.

Yesterday I cleaned 95% of the brake dust off my wheels with my pressure washer. That REALLY cut down on the work.

Also, Comsumer Reports did labratory testing of car wash soaps and dish soaps used to clean cars and they said that dish soap does not strip the wax and in fact the washing results were almost the same with each soap they used. There were better and worse soaps, but the dish soaps were right up along the top with the expensive car wash soaps.

They also said that the car cleaning product companies try to make the consumer believe that dish soap is bad so that they can sell more of their products ... which makes a lot of sence on their part: discredit your competition so you make more money.

This is true, not ALL dish soaps completely remove the wax. Some do to a point however DAWN dish liquid will remove it all. Someone did this for a classroom experiment and it stripped everything off...

First I use the meguires NXT wash. Then i use meguires cleaner, turtle wax polisher and finially either mothers carnauba, turtle wax platium or meguires gold class wax. For the windows I use stoner invisibe glass. When the windows get really bad I use glass science cleaner and glass science rain repel. For the wheels I use mothers polish. the tires get meguires hot wheels. All the plastic gets armoral ultra black. Then for the leather i use meguires. In between washes I use mothers instant detailer.

I absolutly LOVE the Meguiars 3 step stuff! I've never seen a shine as nice as when all 3 steps are done and you take the time to do it properly.

This reminds me that I have the bottles and need to use them on my car again. I think I'll spend a morning this coming weekend doing this.
