I couldnt figure it out and dont wanna break anything

I think im over my head installing the componets... im really bad with car audio.. im pretty good once i learn but i get confused too easy
Did you remove the door panels first? That would be the first step. My ford had them screwed in, so it was pretty easy... I'm not so sure how it is with daewoos.

I did once messing around.. and its hard. I dont know how to get them off. they screw right off... but then there is one part that holds them down. The inside part of where the mirror is .. i cant find screws. I might mess with it later tonight im not sure otherwise ill wait till money cuz i race early tomorrow and sunday

But poor sound?
After you have heard Focal, Rainbow, CDT, and some of the other higher end speakers ... yes, they have poor sound quality.

For lower cost with better sound, I would go with Pioneer before Sony.

NEVER go sony, they can make some ok home entertainment stuff but their car audio stuff is crap. As for pioneer, their stuff is ok but the best pioneers i have heard are the woven kevlar comp speakers (thats why i bought them). JL stuff sounds good and isnt too expensive, and alpine can make a nice sounding speaker (dont know about the cost though)

Got them all done and installed. Im not sure if i like them... whats the clipping sounds from? Is it b/c not enough watts are to them?

They sound much better.. but when they clip when i turn them up they clip more loud than the stock ones, to the point where it sounds really bad instead of barley noticable.

I dont remember why speakers clip but for some reason i think its cuz they dont have enough watts going to them? i hope so... cuz then a nice amp would solve that problem

check the amp and make sure it isn't in mono mode. check the ohm rating of the speaker to make sure they aren't a lower load than your original speakers. other than that what is your watts per channel and rating on the amp and then your rms and peak power and ohm load of the speakers?

Okay so what advantages do i have getting an amp to run the components? is it cleaner or just louder or what?

i remeber an articl in Crutchfield magazine (spelling  ) that said more power is not just for louder music... also for clearer sound so you will feel the difference even if you don't turn on your music thaty loud.

Yes i am.

Well i was in my car for the past 3 hours.. sounds beautiful. My only compaint now is i need more bass  Im going to wait untill after i get the UD pulley before i decide what to buy.

but im probably going to go with one 12 at about 300-350watts rms. Currently i have one 10 and i think its using 150rms... i used to have two of them but one no longer works.

After that i might get an amp for the componets.

Should i get rid of the speakers in the back? I think they are probably hurting more than anything

Rear speakers ruin the front sound stage.
When listening to live music being played, it isn't coming from behind you, it is in front of you.

If you have not yet installed sound deadening in your doors, DO SO! LOL
It will dramatically improve the bass & mid bass from your door speakers like you never knew they could possibly reproduce!

If you go with a 12" sub, sealed is the easiest to do and takes the least space, but it will not get as loud.
Ported, when the port is tuned properly, will have a little bigger box, but will get louder and play lower, cleaner bass.
