i put my old 6x9s in a friends camry. the camry has no holes in the parcel shelf for speakers so we made some spacers (1 above the parcel shelf cover and 1 below) and put them in. they sit about an inch above flush but it doesnt look bad. I actually prefer the bass from good 6x9s as its more adjustable. I had a friends sub in my boot for about a week and didnt like it because you dont get any more then the uber low frequencys through it. I get a really flexible range of low and highs through my new speakers. The competition speakers are infinently better then normal ones, they kick as (nearly) hard as a sub but sound clean and i love em.
