Leganza vs. Lanos....
Well I was driving home tonight and this white Daewoo Leganza comes flying up and I'm like "WTF, does this granny have a lead foot or something". Then I seen it's some young kid driving it. He sees me and slows down next to me and keeps trying to get me to gun it. So we slowed down to 40mph and we both gun it. I don't know if he doesn't know how to drive or something but I smoked him pretty good up to 110mph. He was about 3 or 4 car lengths behind me.
On the bright side, those headlights are sofa king sweet.

Kill that kid and take his Leganza.... he's undeserving.....
even if he has a auto... there is no way a lanos should keep up with it's torque... then again... weight vs. your performance additions.

Re: Leganza vs. Lanos....
my auto leganza can beat manual astras, and its only got an exhaust on it (i binned the filter as it sounded shit even though i lost a heap of power). from my experience, leganzas arent much good once you pass 100mph, i ve only got it up to 120mph
330w carbon kevlar
you'd better believe thats a paddlin

I had the speedometer pegged against the trip odometer above 140mph in my auto Leganza.woo wrote:my auto leganza can beat manual astras, and its only got an exhaust on it (i binned the filter as it sounded shit even though i lost a heap of power). from my experience, leganzas arent much good once you pass 100mph, i ve only got it up to 120mph
Only did that once, but the car will move and it will EASILY do 120 - 130 and the whole car is 100% stock ... it even has the orrigional valve stem caps! LOL
Re: Leganza vs. Lanos....
huh? It's been proven that a stock lanos has faster 1/4mile times than a stock leganza, also faster 0-60 times. Add to this that Shaun's car is modded.... that kid never had a chance!!KnightWalace wrote:daewooluvr wrote:Well I was driving home tonight and this white Daewoo Leganza comes flying up and I'm like "WTF, does this granny have a lead foot or something". congrats but wouldn't we all like a few extra hp.woo wrote:for going fast i got a 300hp 1982 holden commodore
Also, I rarely race due to the fact that it's not fast at all but I wanted to see how it would do against a 2.2. Plus he was askin' for it.
No I didn't get to talk to him, he sank back and wouldn't come near me afterwards. I was just happy to see another Daewoo, yet alone one that someone 65+ years old isn't driving.

A lanos would make a really good race car body though
