I believe they are the main bearings for the crankshaft. So if someone needs to have bearings replaced, any of the cars listed above may have the same bearings.

In case anyone cares...these are the North American cars that have similar if not identical engine components to our Daewoo's....

Fam II Gen II 01/87 - on 1796cc/1998 cc = 87-90 Pontiac Sunbird and Grand Am 2.0L and 2.0L turbo

Fam II Gen II 01/86 - 03/87 1796 cc = 1986 Sunbird 1.8L

Fam II Gen I 01/82 - 12/90 1598 cc = Pontiac Lemans 1.6L

The only thing that confuses me a little is the Nissan stuff since I allready knew the Daewoo's, Opels, Vauxhalls and Holdens used the same engines that were made by Holden.

I wasn't aware that Nissan had any kind of joint ventures with GM.... I have to wonder which Nissan vehicles used these engines.

Fam II Gen I 01/82 - 12/90 1598 cc = Pontiac Lemans 1.6L
Lemans is the "small block" in the euro GM terminology - block is *identical* to the one of Daewoo's 1.6l engine, and should also be the same as 1.5

Lemans' 1.6 SOHC TBI engine...
