Difference between Lanos SE - SX - SPORT

Hi all

Just curious, i see many lanos's and wonder what options are different between them, I only know of 3, not sure if theres more

I know the Lanos SE is a 1.5 ltr SOHC with no options

the SX is a 1.6ltr DOHC with a few options

what the heck is the sport?

Anyone able to go into more detail on what all 3 models have engine/feature wise?

negative, the diference is accesories. Until 99, lanos was 1.5 dohc, then 1.6 dohc.

SE: Plain model (1.5l or 1.6, depend of the year)

SX: Power windos, dlx wheel, spoiler

There is a lanos CDX?

Sport model have: lather seats, sport bumper and sides skirts, sun roof, power all, and if I'm not wrong leather stering wheel, and sport wheels.

the SE in the US is like the sport with out the seats and door pannels

Sport is the highest model available no matter where you live.

US Sport features: leather steering wheel / handbrake handle, leather seats, leather door panels (red/black), sport body kit, Spoiler, CD/Cass player, aluminum look dash, A/C, Sport Wheels, .... no sunroof...

i have the SX in canada and mine came with power everything, sunroof, foglights, sony cd stereo, alloy wheels, spoiler and i think thats about it

Well, sony wasn't stock

uhm.

i have *2* lanos sports. both are 2000 US models

both have: leather steering wheel, bucket seats, alloy wheels, no power windows, sunroof, side skirts, sport bumper, ect ect.

i have pix of the front of my lanos if anyone wants to see. i DO have side pix of one of my lanos' but its the one my gf ran over a curb a few times, and it needs massive body work

mine came sony stock with detachable face. i was surprised when i picked it up. guy was like "oh yeah, you're radio is in the glove compartment"

model was Sony CDX-C5750

That is still not stock, that didn't come from the factory.

well my manual says I have an SE 2000 but mine has power windows/locks spolier and 1.6 dohc.
