We already have discussed it, and the conclusion was NOT to use them, they are dangerous. Some people almost got into accidents by them just snapping from the pressure. You are way better off just cutting a coil then using one of those clamps.

I wouldn't say spring clams are crap, they are used mainly for tightening springs for removing them and aren't meant to be kept on the car, I would be ok with it for shows, but imagine going down a highway and one of the clamps busts... :shock:

yes you are quite right... i just said that from the point of view of a performance parts seeker... the last thing you need on a performance car that is going to be driven hard is a set of thease.
