Engine Balance Question.

Post by BosnianLanos »

I want to take off my AC Compressor, AC belt, and Mounting bracket off of my engine this weekend. My AC doesn't work and I need the extra hp and gas the AC setup steals.

Only one question, will the removal of the AC system throw the balance of the engine off, I really don't want to ruin my engine.

HELP!

No it will not. The engine is balanced separately from any other components.

in here we got Woos that came with no A/C at all and they are running fine... taking off the A/C hardware won't affect engine balance at all.
