you didnt say what kina performance u want
but in 100usd u cant do much
acctually barely do anything
anyway
u can go for one of these
1- Air Filter (CONE AIR FILTERS)
http://www.cardomain.com/item/INJX1010
2- Free Flow End Exhuast
http://www.cardomain.com/item/APC159010

Both 1 & 2 Togther increase acceleration in a noticable way

thats prettty much what u can do in 100$ but that is a begining to the high tunning performance

and it'll cost more to get bigger pipes too for the exaust and that'll increase all together with intake filter probably bout 3hp or so. not much but a start.

Well make it USD200. Actually where I live i.e. Pakistan the Daewoo Racer cost me about USD5000. Plus parts arent easily available aswell. I was lookin for like Headers and an intake. I have a 2.5" Muffler but that dosent improve the cars performance obviously but atleast makes it sound good so i might wanna change the Exhaust systems piping.

Go for the basics,

Intake and a decent exhaust system.

You have the 1.5 8v, it should be OK, but personally dont expect a lot from those modifications.

72 HP can be frustrating. :-)
You could try with electronics from later Astra. I did that with my '93 Racer GSI back when it was new. Increase was suposed to be around 15 HP, never actually got it on dyno, but it was noticable. If I remember correctly it's plug & play job.
