fogged lights?

fogged lights?

one of my headlights is kinda fogged ..as in like suposedly from the sun..its not as clear as the other one..almost looks as if aged..n e ideas to help it get back into shape..i herd brake cleaner will do the job.. :?

Opend it and use rubbing (a product for remove scratch) and close them again, use silicon to be sure that is seal completly. 8)

The fogging may be on the inside or the outside. If it is on the inside, you will have to take the headlight apart like mocpac said.

A rubbing compound like this should be what you need to polish the plastic so it is clear again.

Then you just polish the fogged surface on the outside. This polishing compound will work very well if you take your time with it and follow the directions.

Polishing stuff back to looking like new is what the stuff is made for.

I polished some fogged plastic lense covers with it & they came out looking like new again.

If you get online and searh a little bit there are some headlight cleaners that you can buy.. there is one that is a three-step process i can't remember the name of it but i think it comes out of NJ,USA but that stuff is *really* good :-) I highly recommend it for something that your trying to do. :wink:
