GREAT NEWS!!!!

Post by KnightWalace »

I told my parents that i really hate the computer field today... i've been doing computers for 2 semesters and i've been telling them the whole time that i wanna be a performance mechanic/guild technician... so i've been searching around the past 2 weeks. Finding all the info i could on Auto Technicians and automotive engineering..

And i showed it to them... they're probably letting me go to WYOTECH!!!! the best college for mechanics in the states...

www.wyotech.com

So maybe for once i could provide intelligent information rather than being the forum idiot!!!!

it surely does suck. i took a class in Cisco networking and was lost the whole way. well not lost but barely giving a shit enough to really care. i'm starting an automotive class at a vocational school next month for like paint and body work. i'll probably take classes in mechanics too later on but i'm not sure how good i would be. so after this class i'll take a beginners course and see.

i went to UTI and checked everything out for like 8 hours one day. Its like the perfect school for me.

In my class' now i get all A's except for two classes i always get a C in it cuz tests are worth 65% of our grade and i just suck at testing. UTI doesnt have written tests for the most part.... alot of there tests are like if you can spot the problem with a car and fix it within a time limit

Anyways i forgot one thing...

Thanks mang... Good Luck to you and UTI too!!

CHeck out wyotech..

50% in the classroom (theory)/ 50% hands on (application)

I figure that way i'll be building shit in no time... then i'll take a battle of the mechanics with Efrain A or Erfinder... and still get spanked.. but... i will give them a run for their money

i'll know how to do:

Applied Service Management
Automotive Technology
Chassis Fabrication and High Performance Engines
Collision/Refinishing Technology
Street Rod and Custom Fabrication
Trim and Upholstery

and since all but the course "High horsepower and F/I engine" class you bring your own car in, they'll pay like 45-65% of whatever the parts cost to add on like CAI's... and such

I'm going to be living like 4 miles away... in the boonies... my friend and i found a house for rent

3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 3 car garage (double deep) and since his mom is the head of housing authority we'll be paying like $75 a month for a $500 a month house... and the garage has a air conditioned attic (perfect for band practice) so... we'll be set!!!!! and plenty of room!!! i'm psyched...

A friend of the family has a son that is currently in a school near Charlotte, NC that is supposed to be NASCAR certified or something like that. All I know is that he enjoys it and is doing well so far.

Personally, I LOVE computers and enjoy working on them every day. Fortunately my GF is a mechanic so all of that is taken care of for right now. :D

Lol yea

I could use my certs to get in the NC nascar school which would be cool (and i might do it eventually)

I just wanna get my business going. My friend and a kid i met not to long ago are all going to be performance mechanics(Like, Engine/exterior/interior/body/trim/electronics/custom fab) so we're going to open a shop either in FL/NC/GA
