Lanos hatch spoilers

Post by TheGreatAndPowerfulOz »

Is there a differance between the rear spoiler on a Lanos S/SX and a Lanos Sport?

For some reason, I seem to remember the spoiler from the Sport is larger than that of the regular Lanos, but I can't seem to recall at the moment.

Does anyone know if the 2 are different or the same?

Thanks,
Cliff

I thought that only Lanos Sport came with the stock spoiler...
Are you comparing the Sport one to the Orciari one? If so, the Sport one is way bigger.

the sport wasn't the only one. i've seen a few with the spoiler on but they're exactly like the orciari but they were stock with the car.

so yes the sport has a bigger spoiler.

That is strange, here all the lanos came with the top spoiler in black.

Like this...

then we use the civic spoiler, and some claim to have a OEM lower spoiler that you can use w/o remove the wiper.

correction...
Image

this is a PR lanos. With a civic spoiler over the top spoiler. The lower spoiler is also from civic, the "lanos" oem spoiler, look a like but have space for the wiper

It looks EXACTLY like a stock Sport Lanos just lifted up a bit.

I thought the non-Sport Lanos had a wing available like the top wing pictured here:

And I thought the Sport had the wing like this one where the sides curve down:

Image

Is the second wing an aftermarket one?
If so, what is it, and where is/was it available?

The 2nd pic has to be an aftermarket one. The 1st pic is Lanos Sport wing.

Good find. It says factory style spoiler (so it's not factory). It's definately nothing like the stock Sport spoiler, but looks awesome.

Here's the picture of a stock Sport wing:

So there's no way to get a real Sport Spoiler as single part?
