Ford Contour 4 cyl... go on eBay and search for intake kits, you will get millions of results, and just look a pictures till you find a matching one. That's what I did with my Lanos. Also if the pipe comes up a bit longer you can always cut it or something. Better than starting from scratch.
found one but its for the 6cyl.. but i suck with ebay.. to many options

Well, how about it... I found you a few workable solutions:

1.

2.

3.
This is the one I think will workout the best. Just have to use the pipe that's on the right (left one are useless). It's also the cheapest.

but i dont see one on ebay for what i need... and how do i know what size fits? do all SRIs hook straight up to the throttle body?

Are all 2.0ltr engine throttle bodys the same size?

It doesn't matter what size your throttle body is... you use a rubber hose thing that stretches and it secures with a clamp to your throttle body. The other side secures with a clamp to your intake.

Check out my previous post.

well if its not the same size you can always buy the silicone rubber cupplers that'll match them up. like $5 from autozone.

That's the thing... probably not, but there's a hole for it. If not, you can always drill one yourself.

So you are buying one of those intakes? I mean it looks like they will fit perfectly and the price isn't expensive at all for the 3rd one. Which one are you going with?

Actually, 2001 up Honda Civics have an upright TB like yours (I believe, as I have never taken off my stock intake), almost in the same position too (I own a Civic as well), so you should be able to get a similar one. To add, the older Civic's intakes with the side mounted TB make a perfect angle to get to the intake hole, you could just take one, and mount it facing up like your throttle body, and it might clear the hood. Just go to Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, Walmart, etc. and check their intakes in their parking lots to one that fits the closest, the prospect of getting a sale might get the clerks to allow you to do this.

Yup, this one is for 01 Civic and it does look like it'll fit. Only 10 bucks!!

p.s. I'm pretty sure walmart doesn't carry intakes. At least the one we have here doesn't.
