Selling stuff on e-bay!

Post by kinkyllama »

Ive never used ebay except to browes.. but i think i'm buying new wheels in the near future and want to sell mine.

Whats the fee on ebay to sell things.. what do i need to know?

Do i need to figure out shipping or do they have that information?

Do you think i can sell my wheels for a good price?

and last, if i put it on ebay do i have to sell it to whoever bids last?

Thanks,
Dan

Well here's a few things

Ebay survives by comission... so depending on your starting price.... they charge accordingly.

I think you could sell them for a decent price... i wouldn't think anymore than half of what you paid for them.

you can put a reserve (extra cost) but say you want $50 a wheel... you can put the reserve to $200... and if it doesn't reach that you don't... but if it goes over....

Hope that helps... they do have like walkthroughs and FAQs ... Good Luck.. i'd try to sell them locally... probably get more money for private party...
