evo fusion catback exaust

Post by casey »

i do have it and i would highly recommend it to anyone who desires a deeper sound to their lanos than a muffeler can supply. it does however stick out alittle far, about 3.5 inches farther than stock, and it has about a 3-4 inch outlet. :D . all-in-all i highly recconend this catback exaust. it also gives a significant boost in h/p, how much exactly.... i dont know.

pipe size

Post by daftmajin »

what is the diameter of the piping? i am thinking about getting the system minus the muffler. you think they would sell it to me like that for cheaper? I already have a good muffler. also, they have 95 accent headers, will they fit the US spec 1.6L Manual Tranny Lanos? main q is the pipe size tho.

they won't fit unless you have the old muffler config. acingteam just got a refund for it since it was all wrong.

Didn't get the refund yet... still waiting for a reply... but he said they will give me the refund.

All the headers that sharkracing is making, Sam said, are not universal between those cars... they're all different, it's just the way they listed all the cars like it would fit them, but actually they're all different.
So... NO 95 accent headers will not fit your 1.6L MT lanos

Also, I did ask them about the size of the piping and they never got back to me!!! I'm also pretty sure that they will not cut out the muffler for you and lower the price.

Also, the difference between the cat-back that they're selling will not gain a lot more power than the custom one (muffler and minus the resinator). The only difference is that it weighs a bit less than stock.
Maybe the horsepower difference is like 1-2 hp comparing to custom.

sorry i havent taken any pics, my lanos was impounded... damn cops. anyway, there is a huge ingrease in sound. as for the gas consumption, i havent noticed any gains or drops. the hp increase is also noticable. highly recomend the evofusion. the pipe size is about 2.5-3 in

HOLY COW are you talking about the pipes or the tip at the end? 3 inches would give no performance gains without a turbo.
