U.S. 1.6L daewoo = european?

is there a engine in europe that is the same as the us spec daewoo 1.6l does vauxhall make a 1.6? if so what car did they come in?

i always heard the Astra... but i'm thinking thats a 2.0l turbo...... it could be Opel/Vauxhall/Holden

The X16XE and the C16XE are the same engines, mechanically speaking of course,

Opel/Vauxhall Corsa GSi came with the 1.6 16v ecotec.

They use a different management system.

its the same as the Lanos Aveo engine

Errr no... the C20GET is a "bigblock" 2.0 8v...

The Corsa Gsi engine is the X16XE (ecotec) also came with a C16XE

the 1.8 and 2.0 engines are called big block in Europe... the 1.4 to 1.6 are "small blocks"...

Yes only on the Sunbird and another Pontiac model that i dont remember the name.
