Did some decorating under the hood.

It's just a start...

Painted the valve cover in a brushed aluminum color. It looks much better in person.

Wetsanded (to remove orange peel), polished, and waxed. 5 hour process with two people.

Orange peel is what the painted surface resembles when the paint spray gun is held too far away from the surface of the object being painted. The paint particles have enough time to begin to dry before they stick to the surface being painted. This results in the painted surface not looking smooth, but resembling the slightly bumpy texture of the surface of an orange.

-Hold the paint gun too close and you get runs.
--Hold the paint gun too far away and you get orange peel.
---Hold it just right and the paint goes on smoothly.

Well guys, haven't updated in a while but here it goes.
I recently picked up a Powdercoating sponsor so basically everything that is metal on the car is being done. I will update with pics in the next week or two.

Now for the fun of putting it all back together without extra parts LOL
