if thats football so please stop... i injured myself badly while playing football last Saturday and i have to stay home for a whole week... my right foot is killing me and i can't even walk

the funny thing is... i still can drive as good as ever so my problem is HOW TO GET TO THE CAR

I'm glad I was on pain pills and slept that day.

Didn't want to be bothered by that crap interrupting regular the regular TV schedule anyway.

I hurt so much!

The pain pills don't even seem to work.

I hurt my lower back. I dont know if the sciatic nerve is pinched or if I ruptured a disk ... maybe worse?
It started about a week before Christmas, but over the past couple weeks, it has been getting worse & worse.
I went to the doctor last week and they put me on vicodin, muscle relaxer and anti-inflammetory pills.
They don't seem to be doing $#!+ for me.
A few days ago, I went so far as to illegally take someone else's prescription Percocet that they had left over unused from surgery. I know it doesn't sound that bad, but still, taking someone else's prescription is illegal.
Taking 2 at a time seemed to help a little, but it STILL feels like someone is rooting around in my spinal column with a 1" rusty masonary drill bit, then cutting down the back of my butt & all the way down my right let with a dull knife and then shooting lightning all the way down.
My feet are going numb and tingley. My leg muscles are twitching rapidly and cramping really badly and this mother fvcker just hurts like hell!

I can't even lay in bed without it almost making me cry from the pain.
Standing up is horrible and trying to walk is just insane with pain.
I have to stop and crouch down when trying to walk from my room to the bathroom. Coughing & sneezing are utter agony.

I wish I could just chop my lower half off at this point and be done with it.

This coming Thursday @ 7:45am is my appointment with a spinal specialest for an MRI & xrays. I'm taking this week off from work until then because I just can't take trying to get in & out of the car, then walking in to the office.

If I have to have surgery, then I'll be out of work for about a month on short term disability. In order to keep my pay checks the same amount, I will have to take 15 hours of vacation time each week. Good thing I have about 100 hours of vacation saved up. Too bad if I have to use them, I won't get to go camping in Nova Scotia this summer or go to Dallas TX to hang out with my friends for a few days.

Aiii. I got hit by a Ford but what you got is worse, I was only layed up for a couple of days with a sore back and 13 stitches in my knee.

My dad had a pinched sciatic nerve but it wasn't as bad as you describe. But I doubt it could get much worse than a ruptured disk.

What did you do for it to happen?

LoL. I just went from poor Daewoo advice to poor medical advice. Anyway, I hope you get better.

I thought that both teams were supposed to play to win. Philly simply gave the game away with 4 turnovers and New England still only won by 3 points. Dyansty? Harldy!
