There's some minor things left before it goes for the wiring... such as the fuel rail clearance (in the picture is inverted), vaccum lines, accelerator cable, and some bits that are being sorted but the most big thing is now finish 8)

The ignition wil be installed today and some other bits.

Maybe next week ill be using the car again :D

BTW i dont smoke but my mechanic does :P

Efrain,

Hola, como te va? those are nice pictures and nice work, I wish I new that much... do you mind me asking you, how hard it is to remove the crankshaft pulley? I need to replace the oil pump gasket on my 2k nubira.
also what is the torque I need to apply when putting it back to together...
I did a valve job a long time ago on a honda accord and when I see your pictures it reminds me of those days, was fun... thanks..

The fuel rail sits too close to the plenum... if we turn it around it clears the plenum and sits OK...

We'll also test the old 8v one on it.

in the pic the fuel rail sits a bit high on the right side... thats because it does not have the seals on the injectors (wich will be bought today)

moin,

sorry, but i don?t believe that everything you fix togehther will run well at the end. i miss the normal damper flap controler. it is imortant for the ECM. i think you can?t use another one than the original. how is the engine idle regulate? you need the original controler.

You mean the idle valve ?

Since it will have a Honda management i will be also using the Honda intake sensors and ignition.

the idle valve will be located in this place:

the idle valve is this one: (upper left)

moin,

handa motor managment with the c20xe???? are you sure it will work??? i hope you have more knowledge than i. i can?t believe, because both engine (opel and honda) must have the same ignitiontime, working with the same fuelpressure and flow-rate of the nozzels and so and so on. sorry my english ist not good enough to tell you all my scepsis.

Hello

Efrain, with that intake and a nice exaust system you will get around 165 HP, I think.

What is your plan? The rev limiter will be at ??

The real meaning of this intake will be unleash when i turn this engine into a C20LET (turbo).

But 165 HP will be nice to start :P

Im tempted to run a 50 HP shot of nitrous on this engine when its ready... it can be mapped with the nitrous and without the nitrous...

The rev limiter will be set at 7000 rpm.

I think you'll be the only one in this forum who can sit on the passenger side
