Help, need some information...

Post by scarr »

I put this in here because the part I ordered has to do with suspension. I ordered a full set of spring clamps from daewootech.net about 3 months back. I got them in the mail, didnt realize it, UPS driver had stuck them under the porch steps and theres only one opening. So all this time I've been thinking I didn't get the clamps at all and I paid for nothing. Anyways, I opened the box up and there are clamps inside. The instructions say, use 2 clamps per wheel. Well, that means a full set would come with 8 clamps right? A simple 2x4 = 8. Well all I have is 4 clamps.

Anyone know how I can contact the guys from daewootech.net since they have absolutely no contact information listed anywhere on the site?

It seems to me that if you only use 1 per wheel the spring will do a 'slinky' effect where it will just curve over on the side that the clamp is on.

well you can get ahold of chris on daewootech.net forum group.

and if you bought the ones for only $25 it clearly states that it was only half a set. chris usually doesn't make those types of mistakes but then again he is only human. but if you only bought the $25 ones then it wasn't his fault.

just go under contact and go to "daewootech yahoo group" thats where you need to be.
