Spring clamps

if you lower a car too much it can screw up you camber and in some rear drive cars move the diff to on side (bad) but there is a simple fix (not nessisarily cheap). bolt on a camber and caster kit to fix the problems that lowering can cause and in a rear drive put a panhard rod up the back to make sure everything lines up. Spring clamps arent smart, but cutting your springs is just stupid, as they are made like they are for a reason and cut spring have many adverse affects on handling. Too bad the car doesnt have leafsprings up the bac cause a set of lowering blocks would be the cheap answer to lower the pointless end of the car../

Definately cut the springs, I'm speaking from experience... my car is lowered with cut springs. Look at how low it sits (not on my sig... sig is photoshopped). Yea, the ride becomes a bit bouncy and the steering becomes more tighter, but nothing major. Nothing that would dissappoint you. It is absolutely safe to cut your springs as long as you don't cut too much. If I were you, I would cut a coil from both front and back springs... you're car would look sick then.

Is it your lanos thats cut? Were they stock springs or already lowered ones? What do you mean by the steering becomes tighter? Like when you first lower it?
I dont think lowering it an inch would give me any problems. Ive never bottomed out.

I am still voting against cutting springs... and how in the hell did you manage to almost roll twice while you already have lowering springs?? it seems that you are far more crazy than i am. LOL
anyways try the front and rear strut bars... i got feedback from people saying that they make cornering more sharper and the car feels more "pointey" during corners (available at sharkracing http://www.sharkracing.com/acecart/bin/ ... =020400000 )
also you can replace your suspension bushings with stiffer ones but all that will contribut into a more firm handling rather than a lower car... my point is i don't exactly get what you really want: a firmer ride or a lower car?
as for the roll bar; i thing you mean a "sway bar" because as far as i know a roll bar is that big arc under the roof of the car that prevents the roof from crushing into the cocpet when the car rolls over so a roll bar is a passive safty device... i am sure you mean an anti sway bar.
a sway bar connects the two control arms of the front suspension so during cornering the bar pulls the inner wheel upwards and pushes the outer wheel downwards which helps keeping the car from swaying too much during corners and decreasing the licklyhood of rolling over... a sway bar is an active safty device.
a thicker bar will do a better job keeping the car balanced but i haven't came accross some one that got an aftermarket one for daewoo... maybe you can find one from an Astra or so. also the sway bar is available on rear suspension for some car for better handling purposes.

Yeah i ment sway... although a roll cage helps stiffin up the car a bit too.
The next week and a half im going to try to find someone to custom fabricate strut and sways for my car... i dont think ill have any luck though, i dont know any good shops around here.
One time i was going 112 on a turn... i didnt almost roll it but i came too close.. i shouldnt even feel like i could roll it and the other time was only at 60mph and in the rain.
