Has anyone used these lights?

Any good? Ive heard alot of mixed things but i think alotta the problems were b/c people touched the bulb with there hand when they installed it. Are they an improvment over stock? look good? how blue is the bluish tint?
And what are LED Wedge Bulbs, do those replace the amber lights in the front of your car?
thanks,
Dan

right, im from the uk, and me and a friend know alot about these kinda bulbs, as well as the sidelight bulbs
basicly, the replacement bulbs that appear blueish/xenon/hid are NOT LEGAL, and the bulb is usually a rainbow / shiny colour, NOT BLUE
led sidelight bulbs are wicked, i have got some CLEAR WHITE ones, and they appear slightly blue, like xenon/hid colour. il try and get a photo ov mine over the holiday period, they really do look good.
basicly, as most things in life, if the bulbs are any good, they are illegal, the blue look ones are illegal, but are well nice looking, i dont think them ones your guna get are guna be anything specail, they may be a bit better than your standard bulbs, but bulbs to deteriate over time anyway...

if ya want some wickedly bright headlights that ARE legal, get some Sylvania Silverstars. Also remember to upgrade your wiring harness for your headlights as they've been known to go bad. I melted mine with regular old 55/65w lights. They Sylvania's are 55/65 but are the next brightness down from true HIDs. If ya want some color tint (which I don't condone) you can put some LEDs in your headlight housing. I sell them so just let me know if you need some.

How does one go about updating the wiring harness on a Daewoo? Is it just the light harness or the whole system. And how did you do it?
BTW: Blue, or blue tinged, headlights are a fairly bad idea, however, cops are usually too "busy" to pull us "tuner kids" over, so I'm sure you'll be safe with blue tinged blinkers or side marker lights as long as you don't make your car a huge blue LED light. Also, its smart to have all of your "illegal" lights on a switch other than that of your headlights. I have blue nozzle lights, 3 bright blue LEDs in both of my back speakers and blue tinged APC fog lights. All are wired to my stock fog light button so one push and I'm back to perfectly legal.
Good luck and keep it tasteful.

I want some bluish tint but its not a big deal to me. Basicly i want brighter lights, legal if possible. That look good. Where can i get a wiring harness and how much? Do you know a good website where i can buy Sylvanias? Ive seen them at local auto shops but they overprize everything.daewooluvr wrote:if ya want some wickedly bright headlights that ARE legal, get some Sylvania Silverstars. We have talked about this before. They sell a wiring harness at jcw.com. They will fit any car. If you want to help your harness handle a little more power or just work better for stock bulbs, scrape the paint off the ground. The factory harness has a very poor ground, at least in Leganzas. For the Leganza, the ground is located just below the battery tray.

They're not overpriced, they're just that much better than other headlights. Wiring harnesses are typically sold in any auto parts stores. Just ask for an upgraded harness for 9007 (I think that's it).kinkyllama wrote: I want some bluish tint but its not a big deal to me. Basicly i want brighter lights, legal if possible.
