Re: Daewoo Lanos Rally Car
Ahh ok, so that means the cylinder walls would have to be machined. I was kinda hoping maybe that diameter was with the pistons rings on or something. I assume there would be a specialist tool to machine the cylinder walls and this would probably not be something i could do myself :\. I've been watching a tonne of instructional videos on pulling engines apart etc in trying to prepare for this. Most of which have been from Australian youtube channels, though i have no idea on machining or boring. Thanks for pointing out that forums post, i didnt see that one so i kinda assumed based on the Nubira intake setup that it wouldn't be possible. Do you think there would be much improvement given the diameter goes from 50mm->60mm, i would have thought the remainder of the intake manifold would have negated any effects.
Re: Daewoo Lanos Rally Car
depends on what your powerband goal is
Re: Daewoo Lanos Rally Car
Mid to high range given that's where you keep the revs for the majority of the rally. But i really don't want losses anywhere in the rev range.
