Yes, they've been around for a long time, like any other piggyback, there is a learning curve with respect to wiring, setup and tuning.
Over all they are a decent price point for what you get.
I know a few guys who installed them for controlling extra injectors, this way they were able to get decent idle and still push large amounts of boost.
I believe they have some basic support documentation for Daewoo but I haven't looked at the diagrams to see if they are for European or North American Daewoo ECU's

The wiring wouldn't be a problem, I've just never heard of them until a guy on the opelaus forum brought it up.
I'm really in two minds about spending any more money on this car or saving up for an Astra G GSI like what my partner has.

Perfect Power was always decently priced, my friend ( who owned a tuning shop ) was able to get complete units for around $150 roughly 5 yrs ago.
They are good units, I do not remember a single complaint.

The verts are always more... That one is expensive seeing as though the timing belt is just about due.
The hatches are usually under $9000 for a clean example and most have about 130 000km.
I'm amazed that they aren't a popular car, they're great. People get scared away when they hear it's euro. I cannot name a more useful (the load area is big for the size of the car, it can swallow 2 mountain bikes with the seats folded... I struggle to get one in the lanos), fast, fun street car with better fuel economy.
My girl's remapped turbo managed 5.9l/100km once on the highway (because of roadworks so cruising at 80km/h) but 110km/h cruise usually returns around 6.5l/100km... all on a car that puts out 150kw at the front wheels and with a 5spd tranny.
I'm super jealous (if you couldn't tell)
