It's just a pontiac badge... it's because it was also the Pontiac lemans in North America.
For the manufacturer it's cheaper just to make one part across the model range; and in Australia we don't have pontiac, so it's not recognisable, it's just a motif.
Hi Benzino,
I see that you are from Australia too. Do you know what the Australian model name is of my Daewoo? Is it Cielo?

Thanks Benzino, I didn't see the wiki link but just checked it then. Where do you source parts for your Daewoo in Australia. I have only been using a local Korean wrecker here in Perth West Oz but would be keen to learn of any online stores that are worth with having a look at.
Nothing at the moment, but I just replaced the alternator and picked up a new aftermarket one for $250 off the Korean wreckers here in Perth. I probably paid over the odds but I couldn't find anything online. CV joints seem ok at the moment but it is always something that from my experience of owning front wheel drive cars in the past will need replacing at some point in time. Thought I would just do some homework and see if there was any Daewoo specialists selling online parts before I find myself having to source something in a hurry like the alternator last month.
