that was kinky's stuff you saw. I'd have to get the flanges cut but I can make it for you. do you want mild steel or stainless?

Iam thinking about getting the 4-1 header that deletes the first cat, and i wanna have a bigger sized down pipe with a high flow cat in either 2.25 in or 2.5 in tubing and either a 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch exhaust system with all oem flanges, idk what size is better for flow and mpgs for the stock 2.0 liter forenza

I'm getting setup right now to built the same setup for two other people. if you're interested I can do another. it's the exact type system that you just mentioned.
having used 2.50" with my N/A 2.0 I strongly suggest 2.00"-2.25"

stock is 2" I'm pretty sure
the c20xe is 2.25" stock
when I get my exhaust it will be 2.25" with a 2.5" cat
but I want mine as silent as possible so probably be using factory high flow mufflers

I believe 2.25 inch would be the best for the mid-pipe and are all the other cars forenza's also but i want the mid-pipe with a high flow cat system and o2 sensor bung in the pipe after the cat like stock.

Agreed. 2.25 is the best option. Also anything I make is intended to fit and function like factory and not require modification.blue4renza wrote:I believe 2.25 inch would be the best for the mid-pipe and are all the other cars forenza's also but i want the mid-pipe with a high flow cat system and o2 sensor bung in the pipe after the cat like stock.

I have been looking at the walker oem mid-pipe but they sell those in two pieces but the first piece has too me what looks like an oxygen sensor bung way before where it should be. I know my forenza has only two sensor upstream and down stream or is there three sensor ill have to look that up.

there is only two sensors. one in the manifold and another after the first cat.
the location of the bung in the system doesn't really matter as long as there is one before and one after the cat.

My forenza has a oxygen sensor in the stock exhaust manifold then there's the first cat and then right after the second cat there is the sensor hole for the sensor and some people say they don't need it but I am keeping all sensors on my car i don't want any emissions issues, did you get the link i sent u about the cat i found?

there is only two sensors.
and yes, you have to keep both of them for the car to run proper.

Re: First Cat Delete for 04-08 suzuki forenza
I am really confused I looked it up and i see a sensor in the exhaust manifold and in the mid pipe right after the first cat and after the second cat. That equals Three oxygen sensors never heard a car having that many now, idk if it is because my car is made in 2003 for 2004 model year ill look on the car when the weather gets better and maybe ill be able to get pics of where the sensor's are thanks man

sounds good. it would be interesting to see. like you said, I've never seen an inline four cylinder with three O2 sensors either.

Re: First Cat Delete for 04-08 suzuki forenza
To me i think the 04-05 models have the sensors in the exhaust manifold and on after the second cat area i did sent u pictures did u get them threw email, but the cat backs for forenza fit all year forenza's and a seperate cat-back for all reno's. When i replace the exhaust I'am Buying all new sensors, I saw a place recommending to replace the sensors every 80,000 miles or when needed to be replaced of course. Check out http://www.evofusionusa.com/TeamSR/Suzu ... haust.html k let me know how you like the Cat Back its in 2.25" diameter
