Re: NUBIRA PERFORMANCE PARTS
no, if they laugh at you then you're at the wrong place (they probably think you can't front cash)
try http://hi-torqueperformance.com.au/
just be prepared for a figure between 5 and 10k
and then consider the other/better stock cars you can buy for that (astra sri turbo is about $8-9k and uses a turbo version of your engine)
and yes yours is the x20sed

Re: NUBIRA PERFORMANCE PARTS
Hi torque don't specialise with 4 cyl ,
Are x20sed & x20sev the same engine or do they differ in any way ?
When I search daewoo performance parts it doesnt give me much variety ? If I was to search vauxhall opera or Holden astra would that work , don't they all share same engine ?
Sorry for all questions I'm still learning ins and outs of cars

Re: NUBIRA PERFORMANCE PARTS
an engine is an engine... have you even talked to them?
the engine is physically the same/similar it just uses a very different management system
the daewoo management is more like a commodore/very GM
whereas the x20xev/c20sel is a lot more european/bosch
tell hi-torque WHEN YOU SPEAK TO THEM to think of it like a 4 cyl commodore
I would suggest you learn about cars with what you've got before you start diving in the deep end with modifications

Let the buggers laugh.....then tell them to look up NUBAROO on Youtube and tell them you want the sameMichaell_92 wrote:is there a company that you know of that would have one in stock ?
i feel as if i was to go to a dyno tuner, they would just laugh at my car becuase its no skyline or commodore, did anyone feel like this at first ?
and confirming, my engine is a X20SED ?
Anyway I also got " A Daewoo....Really....LOL" when I started out but now here where I live and I can even go as far as to say as in South Africa A LOT of people know and respect the Woo!! I did not have the cash resources to buy a fast/popular car and decided to modify my car in baby steps, and look where it got to today - probably the fastest daewoo in the World LOL!!!
Nothing is impossible....it just costs more!!!!\

sucks here on the gold coast everyone drives there nissan skylines and ve commodores and they mainly cater for them sports cars not the odd daewoo, i want to do my daewoo up becuase here in gold coast , once a blue moon you will see a daewoo voofed up, i dont see the point in being like everyone else and doing up a car like all the others, why not be different

Re: NUBIRA PERFORMANCE PARTS
a bit late but...
I can offer supply pretty much anything you could want. pistons, rods, clutch kits, valve train... anything.
as for the electronics, there isn't support for the stock ECU, I offer AEM piggy-backs and Stand-alones. Also, Zeitronix wide-band AFR/narrow-band simulator.
I do a lot of fabrication on custom products as well but I'm a little backed up so it takes some time for new products.
