e30 springs?!!!!!!

for all who used e30 rear springs in a deawoo lanos
which version did u use 4 c version or 6 c version?
what about ride height did it increase or decrease?
was the car bouncy?
and the stability got better or not?
and is there any better choice for the rear springs than the e30 ones excluding the sport springs for deawoo lanos since it is not available in my counrty(egypt)

I don't think anyone uses e30 springs, not when there are lanos ones available anyway...

I wouldn't say they are an improvement unless your springs are broken and you can only find e30 replacements
also, having springs that are mismatched (i.e. lanos front/e30 rear) wouldn't give you better handling
I would suggest keeping the standard springs and install improved lanos shock absorbers

MMamdouh used the e30 6 cy rear springs which we all know that this suspension system is very hard and very stiff and instead we can use the 4 cy ones as it becomes a little low and a little stiff than the original rear lanos springs

i heard an opinion from a friend in an other forum who told me that he used the e30 springs on his woo that had his car height increased but also told me that there is a two sets of e30 rear springs one is high and one is low and the low he also used but since he was using a 16inch rims and the low e30 springs the tyres was making a friction at the rear which we can solve by using 14 inch or 15 inch rims giving us a decreased ride height also a good stability
what do u think guys about that?

i know that the apex springs saves alot of conversation at this point but as a matter of fact most people in egypt specially me (collage student) would go for the e30 ones as they are cheap today i found a set of e30 low rear springs for 200 pounds and that saves me alot of money

as a matter of fact it isnt pointless and i will tell u why
i have already lowered the front by cutting the original springs but the back is still the original height when i drive the front gets more low that results the back gets higher it really feels bad in manovering and tight turns also u could say that i can cut the rear springs or lower them by any means but thats a family car which leads to that the car when have four persons the car will be very low that the speed bumps will be a vital problem for me so the e30 springs will solve the problem for me

i agree with u MMamdouh but the e30 low rear springs is actually less in height than the rear stock lanos springs i checked them myself

they will be much stiffer that required i guarantee you

when i compared heights for the OEM and E30 springs prior to installation they were both at the same level... yet because the E30 springs are stiffer they raised the car's height

same scenario will occur with the sport springs... they will "look" ok to use but due to the fat that they are made for a heavier car they will have the wrong mechanical characteristics for your car.
