hey guys,
new to this forum only just joind. i have recently just got a 2001 lanos. 1.5l sohc. ii am plaing on doing some work to it. already started on the audio and painting the dash as well. the first engine mod i want to do is a pod filter instead of the filter box. just need a little help on how i should go about installing it. and what size would be best. and if you have any other mod ideas what would help me out would be great!!!

get a K&N filter code RF-1047 and install it in the area behind the bumper to stay away from hot air in the engine bay
toy would have to remove the air box and resonator as well... fairly easy job
can use a stainless pipe or a PVC pipe to reduce cost

Be careful with the filter at bumper height to not drive too fast in a pool or your engine will drink water.

Yeah that's true. I did think about it and decided to keep it where the box would of been and I'm just going to try and run a pipe coming from the fog light in the bumper an hopefully that will give me good air flow.

just keep the filter level above the fog light hole... i think this is high enough unless you live in a "usually flooded" area

i have also got an air filter on my lanos but its just sitting on the old factory air box as a rest, any other better suggestions? solid piping maybe?
