Spark Plug Replacement

Post by dk1706 »

I recently went to a website looked up Lanos 1.6 Bosch Platinum+4 Spark Plugs (part#4418).

Now, how do I take out the spark plugs and install the new ones. I went to an auto store and they were going to charge me $100.00+ for a tune-up.

I was going to use my spark plug socket but the diameter wouldn't fit through the holes? How do I replace the spark plugs? What sizes are needed?

I think the size is 5/8 or something to that affect. Just pop of the cam cover. Unplug the wires from the plugs. Use the socket wrench and boom they should come out that easy. I have a craftsman kit that has a special socket for sparkplugs, so it takes like 5 min to take them all out. Then replace. To bad you don't live close to me or I would do it for free. I change all my friends plugs for free. Maybe I should start chraging $100. lol.
