Hi,
How much CO at idle?
How much CO at accelerated (2000rpm)?
Do you know values for: HC, CO², O², Lambda ?
Were basic maintenance done: air filter, fresh gas, oil & filter, plugs,...

co %vol: 0.453
HC: 129
lamdda: 1.054

2nd fast test
rpm: 2471
co: 0.478

Your CO values show a slightly rich combustion, while the Lambda values (>1.03) show a rather lean combustion!
I would first check for a possible leak in exhaust system. No "hiss" sound when you partially block exhaust with a cloth?
Or maybe a lazy cat.
Wait for other inputs.

BTW what car and mileage?

there is a slight air leak at center and backbox flanges...
the cat is only a year old.

i suppose i could get some exhaust putty, and whak some of that in between the flanges,

and my car is a lanos 1.6 DOHC and i would say is done about 20k miles..

Fix that first. As this leak can be also a air intake ;) fooling gas analyser.

You may. Not sure it's the problem.

i think its the leak in the exhaust...and maybe a sticky injector

coz from what i can tell the O2 senser is say lean. which could be because of the leak, which would read there being more o2 then there should..
as such would tell the ecu to add more fuel... which would make the CO levels highs..

that confuse me as well...

so let say

the more o2 in the exhuast the senser will think it running lean... so it will add more fuel....

Hehe

i took my car to a friend to mot.. we sealed the small air leak and the reading on the gas analysis fell to normal limits...

so at the end of the MOT all it needs so some new tyres soon. there and a small wear patten but still legal :D
