Distributor Problem!!!!

I have a Daewoo Clieo GLX 1998 model. My distributor is giving me a huge problem. RIght the back of it there is a condensor with two wires going into the module, in fornt of that there is like a round speaker magnet on the shaft. This I presume came loose and is nou spinning around the shaft which throws my timing out. Is there any suggestions on how to fix this problem without having to buy a new distributor as the cost on it is very expensive. Please help : andrew@siyangena.co.za

Is it the pick-up coil you mention?
Can you post a pic of it or identify from here under?
