daewoo cielo wont rev

Hi guys im new to the forum , i have a Daewoo Cielo 1.5 16V

Intermittently the car will have an erratic idle and not rev ( it bogs down ) ENGINE Light Flashes when the revs dip , also it sounds like its backfiring in the intake side

Ive tested the car by bridging the 2 points on the obd port and the only code that comes up is " diagnosis mode "

Will a OBD cable /reader software give me more info or does someone on here have another suggestion i can try ?

Other times the car runs perfectly,

I dunno where to start , ive checked all the sensor plugs wires etc...

get her scanned... as long as the CEL light came on then the ECU have logged a fault code... that will lead you to the problem

my similar issues occurred due to a disconnected vacuum line for the MAP sensor... maybe your sensor died or so
