I was considering the F28 box, but those are few and far between and spares are becoming an issue for these. Apparently the F23 box is just as strong as the F28, some guys have stripped them and found the internal gears to be just as robust and strong as the F28??
Also one of the tuners here in SA has been running the f23 gearbox in his Opel Corsa UTE making 430KW on the wheels without any problems for the last year or so.
Also I think the cable shift box will be more precise on the gearshifts??
Only down side is that the F28 LSDiff wont fit in the F23 - I will have to fork out the money for an Quiaffe diff. But this can wait a while - as long as the f23 is strong enought to handle my power all should be well??
