Ok i read alot about turbo chargers and now i have some not so newbie questions. First how much would a turbo system cost on my 2004 Forenza. I was reading one of the other threads and most people recomender a T3. Also, having a turbo system like this would i have to use different gas to avoid a knock?
How does a turbo effect gas millege? and for just regular driving would i wanna hit the RPM range to get the turbo spinning or avoid that?
thanks for any help guys

Dude, my first advice to you is don't think that you can do this cheaply. Secondly, EVERY precaution should be taken as advised (eg, use an intercooler even if you are running 5psi). Thirdly, NEVER throw any of the stock parts away. If something goes wrong (Mr Murphy WILL do his job trust me!) you'll need those parts to at least drive your car once again!
Now, I think it's easier to do a Yahoo! search for info on how turbos work etc.
As for a T3, I personally think that turbo is way too big if you are looking for driveability from that 2.0L. A Mitsubishi TDO4 (Volvo 940 Turbo) or a KKK KO3 (VW Jetta) is a better bet. They are fairly small which means they spool up quickly. Good luck.

Cogito ergo sum...
