help please
This morning on the way to work I heard a bursting noise and noticed some smoke from the engine. I took a pic if anyone can tell me what it is and is it recommended to drive this car maybe for 2 - 3 km?

Unfortunatly your coolant thermostat has split and the "smoke" was all the coolant in the engine pooring out all over the place
Your chances of the engine being damaged by driving it would be significant depending on what is left inside the engine... I wouldn't risk it if I were you.
At this point this is a relatively cheap repair, the thermostat is only around $50 plus a bit of coolant.
If you drive it you risk heating the engine up significantly which would be grounds for rebuild ( as the temperature would most likely damage the piston rings which would become a very expensive repair )
Go to EBAY and search for "Daewoo Lanos thermostat" and buy a metal thermostat housing for $55 ( not the plastic one )
This way if you can't do the repair yourself you will have the part required for significantly less than what your local shop will be able to get it for.
Given it's a Daweoo odds are it will take a shop a while to get it in anyways, you might be able to ask the EBAY seller to ship it overnight freight as it shouldn't cost too much to do so since it's light and small.
If you can't get your car towed, I would suggest you duct tape the hose back to the houseing as best as you can, fill the system with water, drive a short distance ( say 1km ) fill up the resevoir with water, drive another km, fill up the resevoir, drive another km
Once you get where your going you will have to get the water out of the system if there is any chance at all it's going to freeze..... you could try using premix coolant and save the issue of trying to get the water out ASAP.... but it's very likely you will loose a massive amount of fluid driving the 1km distance ( most likely everything )
The better you can get that to seal the better off you are and the less fluid you will loose along the way.
The thermostat housing replacement is pretty easy.... I'm sure there are many guys here who can help you through it.
