Ok, today i was disappointed to see no woos at one junk yard.... then i was like fuck this, and i went about 25 miles away from my home to see one junk yard, and i became happy because i found not 1, not 2, but 4 lanoses. 2 hatches, 2 4 doors :D

one of the hatch model was a sport version :D

so i got the front bumper from it, and thats about it, cause the rest was all gone (rear bumper, inside was destroyed, back window was destroyed, etc.)

i think the lanos had a turbo in it, cause the whole exhaust manifold was missing, and down pipe all the way to the 2nd CAT was cut off.... idk

but i have a problem, there is a small crack on the bumper, how do i fix it? silicone?

well i went to advance auto parts store and they only showed me some silicons....

i have a special glue, which i used to stick things together... i did it yesterday and when i took a look at the crack that i filled with the glue... it was the same state when i was putting it on.... wtf :x , then i looked at expiration date and it said 3/16/2006... i was like wow

i sanded the filler that i put on bumper and it dint crack, thank god... looks good, got 3/4 sanded down already, need to prime it soon, then to paint workshop :D

i let the filler dry a day, i rather just wait one day then do it over again....

its good cause my dad left me his 1987 Mercedes to work on his while his at work, so at least im not bored

P.S. Ace Hardware has a glue for 6/7$ so it wont hit my pocket hard 8)

for ur filler/bondo.. you gonna use putty? supposed to fill in the small itter bitty holes... i used that on my bondo, on my bumper.. it came out smooothhhhh.
just a thought.
good luck on everything going nice. :)

Eh, it's no different with many aftermarket bumpers as well, you still need to do some corrections to make they look perfect. Consider yourself lucky to find one in decent shape.

well... it dint have lot of cracks (only 1) but it had lots of dents. Which im currently working on right now....
it takes long time for it to dry (bondo 3m filler), so i decided to paint my rims black

I will try to have some pictures of rims with and not on the car, they look sweet :D

hey pall the car sounds like its coming together, congrats!

hey, I may have just missed some of the details or something but those spark plus covers are for the Z16LET which is new an different from the "big blocks" and "small blocks." those covers would be for the 2009 1.6 Aveo and G3 or the 1.8 AStra
