na, im not doing it, i need the car running tomorrow ASAP, took me 2 days to do the headlights (paint them black)
maybe in the future, the headlight is pretty much open so i can do it anytime.
im thinking going red or blue but red would be good
i just need links for it to read and "understand" how its going to be
thx for all who helped

opening the headlights is a couple hour thing, make the rings first then open them adn install them. i even reassebled my headlights when the paint was still wet.

well im guessing he means will it fit into the headlights.. lol, i honestly dont know, as i never took the dimensions of the headlights insides...
but if you look where the connection it, it has a dark spot.. compared to the ones the guy home made.. i mean if you dont want to waste the time in making go right ahead im just saying they have a dark spot.. and it wouldnt look that great...
also, i asked about the color, b.c will your state vehicle code allow a different color(other than white and "amber") to be shown in the front.
unless you use them for showing off purposes.. here in CA youre not allowed to have ANY red shown in the front, any other color <0.05candela may show though.
i was thinking about doing the eyes.. but the how to on here wasnt so great. the one MM posted is basically laid out and simple.. i was thinking green too. but i think i would need more than 14" per circle... >.< calculations... never can get away from them..

Re: Any1 got pics and how-to for angel eyes?
well you haveto remember that different headlights are different sizes.
oh and that dark spot is not seen. that part is hidden by the chrome piece on the head light, like this
i was gonna do them a long time ago, but they were dim as hell since i didnt have the correct resistors on the led's
the i decided that it wasnt my taste of things so i ditched the idea

Re: Any1 got pics and how-to for angel eyes?
no the reason mine were too dim is that i used the incorrect resistors on the led's. with the right ones you can get a nice brite ring. the only thing is that when you have your headlights on no matter how brite the rings are you will not be able to see them (due to the fact that we do not have projector headlights adn that we just hve regular old boring halogens)

hmm.. didnt think about putting the black spot into the headlight thats nice.
but yea.. two things affect the brightness (lux, lumens, candela) for an LED. the resistors and the MCD.
so yea.. if you get the correct resistor for ur power and the right MCD.
i was thinking green for mine. or white.. as they have to be <.05candela, and theyre not red. haha.
mofo.. wht length of tube did you use per headlight?
