here's what i've got so far...
still waiting for a few things to be delivered.
havnt bought boost pipes yet, because i havnt made a final decision on where the intercooler will go - so i'll order all of that once the intercooler is in place.
ordered 2 1/2" stainless steel pipe for the custom downpipe. any extra left over from this might end up being used to make a side-exit exhaust coming out just in front of the left-back wheel.
ive added up the price of evrything so far and it comes to £250 +- £5 (delivery included). the prices of items on their own is probly closer to £200 - which aint half bad for a turbo conversion.
also, to attach the turbo to the manifold I need to re-drill one hole on the manifold flange and bore/grind another to make it a direct fit - so no need for an adapter. obviously i'll have to drill the gasket in the same way and hope for the best and maybe even use some gungum to seal it (works wonders for worn gaskets when no one in the area have a certain exhaust gasket in stock).
thats it for now... need to invest in some more tools at some point aswell to get the job done easier. oh, and i need some oil and an oil filter aswell, but i can get that easy.
edit: almost forgot, ive got 4 check valves (3 + 1 for good luck) from an aquarium/aquatics/fishtank/whatever shop for the MAP sensor aswell as a spare MAP sensor in case mine dies. the MAP sensor is off a 1.6 16v, but they look the same and have the same connection so i'm sure it'll work in case mine dies. still want to get an extra IAT sensor aswell.
