what a stupid action from CHEVROLET

I didn't think that in the darkest nightmare I would have that it will be happened

Now after 10 years of producing the daewoo lanos now we have in the egyptian market the great Chevrolet Lanos LS

I can't imagine what is the hell GM thinks how will it work!

the just remove the front grill and change it with a cheavy emblem and remove the daewoo badge on the rear end to oput the same chevy badge

they didn't even think about changing the ugly 13'' wheels with same daewoo design . just change the badge!!!!!!!!!!!!

now in EGYPT we have the chevy and woo lanos

photos of the brand new model will come!!!

I don't think so . lanos here in egypt is a pieace of glod. it is a value car . that what makes GM think about rebadging. I don't think that lanos is the same at usa . that will affect chevys name in the usa. may they will do it under SUZUKI brand.

I doubt they would bring it here at all due to the fact we have the aveo which is so similar that it would be making competition for themselves.

Hi guys,
We also have the Chevy Aveo here in Egypt. In fact we have 2 Aveos: the locally assembled Aveo and the imported one. Not much of a difference though. Still Chevrolet needs to steal the Lanos away from Daewoo !!! Making profit out of somebody else's sweat !

quick questions: is the Daewoo Lanos still produced in Egypt or has it been replaced by the Chevrolet Lanos?
do you know how many Daewoo Lanos were produced at the 6th October plant in 2008 and how many Chevrolet Lanos?
I am confused.

the daewoo lanos is now officially replaced with a chevy lanos now in Egypt... only difference between both cars - other than emblems - is the shape of the front grill and the fact that the chevy lanos comes with an MP3player... nothing else has changed

the "2 model" phase was just a transition phase were the last produced daewoos were still for sale and the newly produced chevy's saw the light

today you can't find a brand new daewoo lanos to buy... got to go to a chevy dealer to get yourself a lanos

id take out the center "bar" adn have it be a mesh grill with a chrome outer ring

adn i actually like the stock lanos chrome grill piece with mesh. but i want the chevy one cause its very clean and woonique (woo+unique)
